Summary
Kith stores your data on your device. There is no account, no server, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. The app does not make any network requests.

What Kith stores on your device

All data Kith stores lives in the app's private sandbox on your device, and nowhere else.

The contact identifiers (not the contact data itself) of the people you've added
The cadence you've set per person
Your check-in history — timestamps and your optional one-line notes
Notification scheduling state (which reminder template fired, when)

What Kith reads, but does not store

Names and photos are read live from the iOS Contacts framework with your permission. Kith never copies contact data into its own database — your contacts stay in the system Contacts app, and Kith reads them only to display the name and photo in its list.

What Kith does not do

Does not collect any analytics
Does not include any crash reporting SDK
Does not include any advertising SDK
Does not make any network calls (URLSession is not used in the app)
Does not access call history, message history, or FaceTime history
Does not sync to iCloud in this version
Does not share data with any third party — because there is no data to share

Permissions Kith asks for

Contacts
To let you pick the people you want to keep in touch with. Kith reads names and photos from Contacts when displaying your list. It does not copy, index, or upload contact records. You can grant Limited Access (specific contacts only) instead of Full Access.
Notifications
To deliver the quiet local nudge when you've gone past a cadence. Notifications are scheduled locally on your device and never sent via a server. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings — the app still works, you just won't receive reminders.

Both permissions can be revoked at any time in Settings → Kith.

Your data, your control

Export everything as JSON: Settings → Export data
Delete everything: Settings → Delete all data (two taps, confirmed)
Uninstalling the app removes all Kith data from your device

Subscriptions

Kith+ subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store. Kith receives only the entitlement status (subscribed or not). Kith has no record of your payment method or purchase history. Apple's privacy policy applies to the transaction.

Children's privacy

Kith is not directed at children under 13. Since we collect no data from anyone, children are not at risk of data exposure through this app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example if a future version adds iCloud sync — the change will be noted in the app's release notes and this page will be updated. We will not add data collection silently.
